Magnet had yet another successful “Tin Tuesday” campaign over the month of October. The projects department collected 280 cans, which Magnet matched, raising the total donation to a magnificent 560 cans! The charity who benefited from last month’s tin collection was the Food Bank SA. Situated nationwide, The Food Bank SA collects and disseminates non-perishable food items to various NGO’s, including orphanages, crèches, old age homes, soup kitchens and HIV/AIDS clinics. “Thank you so much Magnet for your contribution â€" it will undoubtedly go to good use”, says Food Bank spokesperson Bongani.
