An initiative that is transforming education at schools by empowering school principals with support from business leaders has made its first tentative foray into Pietermaritzburg. Founded in 2010, Partnership for Possibility (PfP) has racked up an impressive track record of helping to bring about sustainable change in more than 500 underprivileged schools nationally. The core premise is that schools are key institutions in communities, and for a school to assume its rightful role, it needs an emboldened principal, empowered teachers, and a capacitated school. Key to PfP are business leaders willing to step out of their comfort zones, and embark on their own transformational leadership development journey.
