ICC Durban is one of the most advanced conference facilities in the world. Flexibility and versatility are key factors in the design of this state-of-the-art technology driven centre that was named “Africa’s Leading Conference Centre” for eight years by World Travel Awards and in 2004, 2005 and 2006 was ranked in the “Top 10 Convention Centres of the World” by AIPC.
Situated between the beachfront hotels and the business district, the Centre offers a raked auditoria seating of 1800, an arena seating 2250, flat floor seating for 5200 and standing capacity for 7500 for concerts. In addition, through the use of operable walls, the Centre can be subdivided into 25 meeting rooms and can be configured to suit any requirement of an event. The Centre covers an area of 12 500m2/ 134 200sq ft and together with its sister venue, the adjacent Durban Exhibition Centre, offers 32 000m2/ 343580 sq ft of floor space making it the largest convention complex in the country.
Meeting Rooms Smaller venues and meeting rooms, suitable for groups of five to 400, are conveniently situated on the ground and first floor levels. Besides more intimate gatherings and seminars, these adaptable smaller suites are well situated for breakaway sessions, presentations, functions and cocktail parties. Three outdoor courtyard venues are perfect to enjoy tea breaks, catered functions and informal meetings in sheltered landscaped surroundings. Some of the meeting rooms are subdivisable. ICC can be linked with the adjacent Exhibition Centre to double capacity. Hall 1, 5 and 6 can be raked or flat floor configuration.

Catering A state-of-the-art central kitchen and 12 servery kitchens enable the executive chef to offer a wide selection of menus for up to 3000 guests.
Audio Visual & Technical A professional technical team provides comprehensive service, as well as advice on sound, lighting, full production and staging requirements. Other services include, on site electrician, first aid and security. The ICC Durban is also WiFi enabled.
