Musa Makhunga, the founding managing director of the HR Matters Group, is passionate about making a difference both in the workplace and in society in general. The Group has a focused approach to transforming business from within as it believes that people are important resources and each have something to offer in the workplace. However, the human resources function is often treated as a distant cousin in the workplace. Musa Makhunga is convinced that human resources, in line with international trends should be the first item on any organisation's

PAYROLL SOLUTION
HR Matters Pay Us web based Payroll Solution is not your normal run of the mill payroll system. It boasts a number of modules which any HR system should have such as: employee and manager self service, leave administration as well as a number of other modules including performance management.
HR Matters payroll covers all SARS legislative requirements and makes available IRP5s at all times at a click of a button and for a modest price per pay-slip. This would drastically cut down on time spent by staff reconciling employee deductions and payments at SARS offices.
Going green has been made real by delivering payslips via cellphones, taking advantage of the proliferation of mobile technology. Not surprisingly, this has become an instant hit with young entrepreneur owned businesses.

THE FUTURE
From humble beginnings, the Group now has a foot print in Johannesburg and Cape Town. HR Matters intends to expand further in the future.
The company has been working on a model whereby a network of owner managed branches will be established in different regions. The
intention is to both expand HR Matters and to create employment opportunities for business people with a solid HR back ground and
who share its vision for the future.
