The year 2011 marks the 21st anniversary of PC Training & Business College which operates in the education, training and skills development sector in South Africa. PC Training & Business College is a reputable South African grown institution, which is nationally registered. The institutional corporate head office is based in Durban and there are substantive regional offices and campuses based in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Pretoria. The remaining Further Education and Training sites are located countrywide and range from small to substantial education and training sites.
PC Training & Business College has a proud track record with over 130 000 learners having completed a range of programmes and qualifications during its years of operation. The world class teaching standards and good learning facilities have resulted a huge growth in student numbers over the past five years. The institution's national learner satisfaction rate stands at 79%.

STAFF TRAINING
PC Training & Business College has strong development focus which facilitates all staff to have a increased sense of belonging within the organisation. Management ensures that both time and resources are available for staff development. The huge focus on training and development includes a direct budget of R4-million. The institution holds an award for Investor in People for continual commitment to staff development.
The institution's commitment to Employment Equity goes back to its history in its formative years. Employment Equity is evidenced in the institution's shareholding, directorate, senior management and middle management and its commitment reflects the demographics of South Africa in both staffing and governance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post school education qualifications are offered at National Further Education and Training Certificate, higher certificate, advanced certificate, diploma and degree levels in the fields of information and communication technology, business, and economics and management sciences.
The institution undertakes training with Sector Education and Training Authorities, corporate, municipalities and government departments. Further education qualifications include Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) programmes for the Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting and other Financial Services Seta ( FASSET), Services Seta and Information Systems Electronics and Telecommunication Technologies (ISETT )Seta. Associated companies offer programmes from the Education, Training and Development Practices (ETDP) Seta and Hospitality, Tourism and Related Industries (THETHA). The institution also offers a range of skills programmes from the ETDP Seta and THETHA. The institution was selected by Umalusi for piloting full accreditation for its FET sites. The Umalusi Council sets and monitors standards for general and further education and training in South Africa.
ACADEMIC STANDARDS
The institution is a great believer in the deployment of specialist teams and work groups. An external Advisory, Research and Quality Assurance Board consisting of representatives from industry, the accounting profession, the legal profession as well as public providers and researchers provide direction with regards to academic content, quality assurance and research.
