The Entrepreneur Competition is designed to provide entrepreneurs with a platform and vehicle through which to move their businesses forward to sustainable growth levels. Such businesses should exhibit creativity, innovation, growth potential and sustainability.

The competition provides an opportunity for these entrepreneurs to gain the necessary business skills training, receive valuable group and one-on-one mentorship, prepare a comprehensive business plan, and receive significant marketing exposure necessary for growing and developing their businesses.

R60,000.00 are up for grabs and will be shared between the top three regional winners and more prizes for Provincial winners.

 Eligibility Criteria

1. Business must be registered in South Africa and must be operating within the eThekwini Municipal boundaries
2. Business must have been in existence for at least one year
3. Business must be making a turnover less than R3 million per annum
4. Entrepreneur must be full-time in the business
