Over the ten years of their existence the KZN Top Business Awards have established themselves as a highlight of the KZN business calendar. They offer an excellent opportunity for all business sectors to showcase their achievements to their peers. Factors such as brand and reputation, stakeholder relations and goodwill, environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and quality of governance are all taken into account in selecting the finalists and winners.

This year, a new award sponsored by SLG, will be presented to the KZN Top Business Personality of the Year. SLG CEO Nkosinathi Solomon said, "This award will be given to a business person who has demonstrated exemplary business achievement, industry influence and is a true inspiration to others."

In addition, the much coveted KZN Top Brand, which is selected by a public online vote, will be awarded.

The gala dinner event will be held on the 28 July at the Greyville Conference Centre in Durban.
