EHHC upholds their commitment to CARE with FREE Cataract Surgeries

People with diabetes have a higher risk of developing eye problems such as, Cataract, blurred vision and blindness. Cataracts are extremely common, and most cataracts are a result of the ageing process. Surgical removal of cataracts is usually safe and e effective, resulting in improvement of one’s vision.
In commemoration of the EYE WEEK, resident Ophthamologists, Dr Bhavna Jugadoe and Dr Kavitha Naidu together with EHHC o ffered FREE cataract surgeries to 10 unprivileged patients. These patients were immensely grateful for the kind gesture of the hospital and the doctors for giving them a brighter future of hope.
