eThekwini Municipality - GOVERNMENT DELEGATION VISITING XENOPHOBIA HOTSPOTS

. A multi-disciplinary high-level government task team deployed by President Jacob Zuma to address the violence directed against foreign nationals in KwaZulu-Natal will be led by the Premier Senzo Mchunu today, 15/04/2015 to visit all xenophobia hotspots in the province.

The government delegation including State Security Minister David Mahlobo, Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba, Mayor James Nxumalo and members of the Provincial Legislature are currently in Verulam from there they will proceed to KwaMashu, Isipingo, Dalton and the Mahatma Ghandhi Road area.

Members of the media are invited to visit the Isipingo Shelter for displaced foreign nationals at the Isipingo Sports Ground in Outer Circuit Road for a briefing today, 15/04/2015.
