As part of commemorating 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children, Mayor of eThekwini Councillor Zandile Gumede and Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Nomusa Dube-Ncube will mark the launch of the campaign in the City on Sunday 26 November 2017.

The annual campaign is aimed at highlighting the negative impact of violence against women and children. It is also focused at seeking prevention interventions to the on-going violence perpetrated on women and children.

The theme for 2017 campaign is, “Count me in: Together Moving a Non-Violent South Africa Forward”.
