SHEKHINAH DONNELL
Shekhinah Donnell comes from Durban; she completed her matric in 2012 and is currently pursuing a career in the music and entertainment industry.


During 2010 and 2011 she performed in the musicals Hairspray and Suessical at the Elizabeth Sneddon in Durban as part of the KZN Young Performers; after reaching the Top 32 of MNET’s SA Idols in 2011, she finished in the top 6 of MNET’s Season 8 of SA Idols in 2012. Since SA Idols she has performed at a variety of corporate functions, government events and public events.


Shekhinah is a talented songwriter and says that it's not easy and that she is a perfectionist, writing several songs before believing one will truly make it. Various musicians and artists have been encouraging of her entrance into the music and entertainment industry including Lira, Micasa and Danny K.
