Appreciating and addressing customer needs and where need be going the extra mile forms a central part of Corobrik’s philosophy. 

This was recently made evident to Umdloti pensioner, Ann Harris, when inquiring about ordering 900 concrete pavers to pave the entrance of her family’s home. 

“I called Corobrik to order the pavers but had no way of getting to their offices to pay,” explained the 83-year-old Harris. 

“I am blind in one eye and have had a couple of strokes so cannot drive. But Corobrik was outstanding.”

 Harris lives on a cottage situated on the same property as her family and she wanted to do the paving as a gift. 

Kogi Naidoo, salesperson at Corobrik’s Avoca branch, spoke to her manager, Des Kisten, who organised to fetch Harris from her home a couple of days later.

“Des fetched me and my gardener,” explained Harris, “as he needed to help me pick out the right pavers. Corobrik was so patient with me, helping me with everything I needed. They even offered to come to my home and assess how many pavers we would need. They were just absolutely amazing to deal with.”

Corobrik’s Avoca branch manager, Des Kisten, said he and his team were delighted to be in a position to give assistance to Mrs Harris.

"She selected the Multiblend Paver from our Corostone Range. This paver is cost effective and the multicolour paver blends in with the rich, earth tones of the Umdloti landscape.

Commenting on their customer service, Kisten said, “We do get unique requests from customers from time to time and satisfying our customers’ needs is paramount to the success of our business,” said Kisten.
