Are you an effective communicator?

We are running a communication course to address the most important skills in the business world, influential communication, self-awareness, awareness of others, and the ability to lead with cooperation. You will develop practical strategies, to use both personally and professionally in order to develop your communication skills.   The course content includes principles from social intelligence, emotional intelligence and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Engage in sustained oral communication and evaluate spoken texts
Method
We use a variety of classroom demonstrations, direct-experience practical exercises, group discussions, explanations and case histories specific to your needs. This creates a stimulating learning environment that allows participants to confidently experience and practice the skills taught. Personal attention and direction will further assure that the material will be utilised rapidly and integrated into your work environment in a productive manner.

• Understanding the principles of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

• Credit value: 5  (If the Portfolio of Evidence is completed,)
• Field: Communication Studies and language
• Sub- Field: Language

Portfolio of Evidence
A certificate of attendance will be given unless a Portfolio of Evidence is completed.  In order to complete a Portfolio of Evidence, learners are required to apply skills and knowledge obtained on the course in the workplace. This POE is submitted to Bafundise Skills for assessment. Learners will receive a workbook and portfolio guide, which will guide them through the process.


Post Course Support
Bafundise Skills provides on - going assistance following training via email or telephone in the application of theory covered during the course as required.
Assistance in compiling the Portfolio of Evidence is also provided by email, telephone or face to face on request.


Accreditation
Bafundise Skills is an accredited training provider through the Services SETA with level 4 BBBEE status. Accredited and customised learning programmes are provided to organisations either on site or in small public groups.

Gayle Adlam is a registered facilitator and assessor. She has a Teaching Diploma, a BA in Psychology and Communication, Honours in Psychology, MA in Community Development and is a certified NLP Practitioner and Coach. Much of her work experience has been in teaching and training, for which she has had a lifelong passion.  Her work experience includes many years in the corporate environment in the fields of communication, marketing and publishing.
