BUSINESS WRITING AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS COURSE

Are your business writing skills effective?

Writing clearly in business is essential. We have to learn how to communicate effectively so that it is impossible for others to get the wrong idea. Weak writing skills result in mixed messages, lost contracts and sales, and suggest a lack of professionalism.

During this two day course, learners will gain a practical understanding of up-to-date written business communication requirements. Through short lectures, examples, and practice exercises, they will learn how to write clear, concise, correct and effective documents. High emphasis is placed on 'doing' in a small group and in a very comfortable environment.

The aim of the course is to teach learners how to
• Communicate ideas and facts in a clear and organised manner.
• Ensure their writing meets basic grammatical standards, including word agreement, sentence construction, proper spelling, and punctuation
• Choose the right words
• Plan, organise, and write business letters, reports, memos, and e-mails
• Adjust style, length and level of written communication to fit the audience and the situation.
• How to revise, edit and proof read
