Lauren Abdo, from Marketing Works, is the new chairperson of the iLembe Chamber’s Women in Business Standing Committee. Lauren is a marketing specialist by day, and mom to two little people and wife to one big person by night. She has been in the marketing game for well over a decade and in that time had the privilege of working with and growing several large corporate brands. 

As a mom, wife and owner of a very busy business, it comes as no surprise that she is passionate about the unique circumstances and challenges faced by female entrepreneurs, especially.  “I’m looking forward to working with the other Board Standing Committees and assisting with projects within the iLembe Chamber as well as supporting female owned businesses through the activities and initiatives of the WIB Committee.”  Lauren takes over the reins from Veronica O’Dwyer, partner at Wiesinger O’Dwyer Incorporated.
