The Ugu Film Festival is back for the fifth consecutive year and promises an exciting and awe-inspiring programme.  Members of the media are invited to submit their details for accreditation.

The festival will run from 21 â€" 24 September 2017.  The official festival venues are: Margate Hotel, Desroches Hotel, Ndunu Hall, St Mike’s Beach and Stages Restaurant.

The official media launch will be held on Tuesday, 12 September at a venue that is yet to be confirmed.
 

In order to get accredited for the festival, kindly submit the following:

·        Full name and contact details

·        A head and shoulders photo of yourself

·        Name of media house you will be representing

ABOUT UGU FILM FESTIVAL

The Ugu Film Festival is the brainchild of Mr Senzo Zindela a KZN film producer who is the founder of Sollywood Films which has made a name for itself in the local film industry by creating content and producing films from the Ugu district. The idea for the festival was borne out of keen interest from locals to watch previews of the films produced by Sollywood Films before they were aired on Mnet. The festival is sponsored by the National Video and Film Foundation (NFVF)and enjoys support from the KZN Film Council. The festival can be best described as a film industry development tool that has attracted international producers and investment to the Ugu district.
