On 13 April 2018 the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Bulelani Magwanishe, visited the JCCI Export Incubator with Zanele Mkhize â€" Chief Director â€" Trade Invest Africa and Vusi Skosana â€" Parliamentary Liaison Officer.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss the Exports Incubation programme and strengthen collaboration between the JCCI and the dti.  The JCCI apprised Deputy Minister Magwanishe of its Small Exporters Incubator Programme, which was launched by Minister Rob Davies as part of increasing the pool of the dti-led Global Export Passport Programme. 

The Incubator is a SME development project run by JCCI in partnership with the German Government Agency, GIZ, and the Belgian Government Agency, Trias.

JCCI was selected as the partner of choice based on its history of success in managing other similar initiatives.
