Trade and Investment KwaZulu-Natal (TIKZN) have successfully facilitated various initiatives and opportunities for The Unlimited World group so as to derive value for this local investment into the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

The Unlimited World have set up a Contact Centre project of 400 new jobs in Empangeni, Escourt, Howick, Northdale, Ladysmith, Richards Bay, Dundee and Newcastle and 43 jobs via expansion seats in Pietermaritzburg and Port Shepstone.

With the intervention of Trade and Investment KZN, the project was set up in the different Municipalities, possible SME partners were introduced and site visits facilitated to all areas concerned for the new projects.

Trade and Investment KZN also facilitated meetings with the relevant officials in the Municipalities, brokering the commitment of Municipal incentives and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) incentives from the Enterprise organisation (TEO) division at the department of trade and industry.

"Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa (ASGISA) has developed the BPO sector as a key sector in terms of job creation, with the aim of approximately 3500 jobs to be created by the end of this year alone" said Sizwe Mbanjwa, GM: Investment Promotion Services, Trade and Investment KZN. He went on to say, "Trade and Investment KZN has the aftercare support structure in place should The Unlimited Worlds choose to expand. The organisation is here to assist the businesses with further growth challenges".
