EHHC upholds their commitment to CARE with FREE Cataract Surgeries

2013-11-14

People with diabetes have a higher risk of developing eye problems such as, Cataract, blurred vision and blindness. Cataracts are extremely common, and most cataracts are a result of the ageing process. Surgical removal of cataracts is usually safe and eeffective, resulting in improvement of one’s vision.

In commemoration of the EYE WEEK, resident Ophthamologists, Dr Bhavna Jugadoe and Dr Kavitha Naidu together with EHHC offered FREE cataract surgeries to 10 unprivileged patients. These patients were immensely grateful for the kind gesture of the hospital and the doctors for giving them a brighter future of hope.
